We had the Spicy Blue Crab Stew and Seng Bulgogi. Our waiter cooked the Seng Bulgogi right at our table. Don't miss out on wrapping the bulgogi in rice paper or pickled radish--it adds an extra layer of deliciousness. The portions are generous, and the banchans are amazing!

One of the best KBBQ spots I've been too. I came here after getting a haircut next door and the hair stylist said you should try the spot next door. I was leaning towards something else since it wasn't in koreatown. I walked in there with no expectations. The whole place was packed and busy with Koreans. You know it's good when the waiters and the clientele are just people of their catering too. I got their seng bulgogi which is bulgogi soup where they pour it over the meat to get it tender. Very interesting concept and was glad at how everything turned out. 10/10

I never heard of this place before but I saw it on instagram and wanted to try it out. The seng bulogi is different from your typical Korean bbq with the grill. It's kinda like a bulogi hotpot with a bulogi broth. Surprisingly the broth isn't too sweet. The seng bulogi consists of beef, mushroom, spinach and noodles, everything that I love in one grill. The waiters and waitresses helped cook the food for you which is nice. Once the food is all cooked, you can start eating. How I eat is by wrapping the beef, spinach and mushroom in a radish paper. All the banchans that were served were all surprisingly delicious and I kept asking for refills on the fish cakes. Plenty of parking in the place so parking won't be an issue. For the seng bulogi, make sure you come here with a friend and an empty stomach because you need to at least order a min of 2 orders. My friend and I finished the whole plate with nothing left behind. Service is great and friendly. I would definitely be coming back.

Not only was the food amazing, but we had the best service ask for Nancy when you go! Truly the sweetest server. I haven't had this type of bulgogi dish in years! Make sure you pace yourself because in addition to the meat, you have the noodles and the real ones know to mix the sauce with the rice while they're eating So happy I found a local spot! They also do KBBQ! Definitely heading back to try the rest of the menu : Ong Ga Nae BBQ, 19745 E Colima Rd, Ste 4, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 : Plenty of parking : Plenty of seating but this place can get packed during rushes! : ~$160 2 orders of the seng bulgogi, feeds 2 people per order) Seafood green onion pancake Cold buckwheat noodles

Yes, pay $42 x 2 minimum orders for $82 worth of yummy bulgogi + spinach + 2 kinds of mushrooms cooking in a beef bone broth, with noodles added at the end of the second order cooked. They put it on the grill, they come back and flip it and stir it about 4 times over 15 minutes, then you can eat it. The bon chon were great = kimchi spice on bok choy, kimchi cucumbers, cold mashed potatoes, dried seaweed. You have to pay for rice. Since we were not sure if kids would want this, we also got the beef bone soup, which came out first, was very tasty, but became bland compared to the star. Lots of space, i say maybe 100 could since there at over 20 tables that have a grill in the middle. Parking is a large plaza, but it can be full. I will be taking friends here!

The first time I came here the service was almost non-existent and today was entirely the opposite. It was almost too fast that I felt I was being rushed to eat. It is the better of the two ends though so I won't complain. We ordered the infamous seng bulgogi and and dolsot (hot stone) bibimbap to share between two people and it was plenty enough. I've never had bulgogi served this way so it was a fun overall experience seeing it unfold. The waitress brought over the mountain of meat, placed it on the grill, and poured cold broth all over it. Once the meat was all cooked, she kindly taught us how to eat it: as a soup or ssam (wrap). She placed the rice paper (or daikon radish which I like better), meat with mushrooms and veggies, cilantro, and red sauce to create the perfect bite. It was a great meal because you could eat it in whichever way sounded better and the broth was always piping hot. She also mixed the bibimbap for us but I wish it stayed in the hot stone pot for longer so the rice could be more crispy and scorched. There were hardly any hot pieces and there wasn't enough sauce. It was missing some texture and spice but otherwise a good filling dish to have on the side. We got full before we could finish and we received a cup of cinnamon ginger tea which was surprisingly really sweet. It was almost like a dessert but a nice palette cleanser nonetheless. We went on a Friday night and we were seated right away but I know it can get busy on weekends from past experience.

It was cold and rainy and needed something warm and hearty.. We stopped by here for Korean Bbq of a different kind. This one is cooked on an iron dome with broth (tastes like diluted Korean BBQ marinade). The broth is pored over the meat/veggies as it cooks and the noodles are added at the end your meal. It has been one of our favorites but our last visit was prior to Covid. It's good to know it still here. The minimum order is two orders for this dish and it probably can feed a party of four. We also ordered a cold noodle on the side but unfortunately forgot to take a pic. Too busy stuffing out faces..lol. Forgot to mention. The best part of this meal was our wonderful waitress was doing all the cooking for us so all we had to do was just enjoy our food.

Ong Ga Nae is literally the best Korean bbq place in Rowland I've been coming here since I was like 5 years old with my family n everything The ownership changed but it's still really good We came to celebrate my moms birthday and the servers told us that they can't hold our cake in the fridge which was such a shock to us all cus like ???? I've never had a restaurant EVER deny us of holding our cakes for us so we had to leave it in our car lol We ordered 2 orders of the boneless short rib, pork belly, Ssam set and 2 orders of the bulgogi Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the food bc I was busy drinking but the spread was immaculate to say the least The banchans here are literally my favooooorite everrrrr especially the bok choy kimchi.. that bitch slaps so mfing hard she's a slay forsure best kimchi ever.
